International Housing Village (IHV) - is the private property of Busch Gardens/Water Country USA where students live during their Work & Travel Program. About 350 employees live in the IHV in peak season. Less employees live in the IHV during the winter and spring seasons, but you should still expect to have up to 4 roommates. Housing is dormitory style with 4-5 people per room. There are no mixed gender rooms so couples CANNOT live together. Each room has beds, linens, dressers, private bathroom, TV, hot water, air conditioning, refrigerator, WIFI, and free local calls. For safety there is IHV security and IHV staff to assist students at most times of the day and evening. 1 KM to large grocery stores. City transit available next to the housing. a Bank is 5 KM and entertainment is available throughout city. A main kitchen facility is provided, as well as laundry at no cost. Rooms are fully furnished. It is recommended to bring a personal towel, but not required. WiFi internet available everywhere on housing property as well as seven internet PCs. Seasonal swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, and organized activities available at the housing complex. Weekly fee per person: $ 105.- Housing is located within 5 miles of the work location. The Host Company provides free transportation to and from work every day.

Busch Gardens® in Williamsburg, Virginia is the world’s most beautiful theme park, as voted year after year since 1990. Our theme is classic Europe with artfully landscaped villages, like the Parisian streets of France, the hamlets of Scotland and the Oktoberfest celebrations of Germany. In all, we have nine villages centered around six countries for you to explore.

F&B Ambassador: Our Culinary Operations Department offers a variety of positions in our restaurants, snack shops, and kiosk operations in Busch Gardens. Schedule will vary during November and December and you should expect to work 6 days per week, 6-8 hour or shifts or longer during this time. After December 31st, the park is only open on weekends but you can expect to work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday each week. Long shifts should be expected on these days 8-16 hour shifts are possible. Additional work will be scheduled during the week when the park is closed. This work includes deep cleaning locations, food prep, setting up queues and helping to remove/ store Christmas decorations. Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays are required workdays. All positions require a high level of customer contact and good customer service skills. All positions are responsible for maintaining park cleanliness. Working conditions vary according to the specific assignment. Positions may require exposure to direct sunlight, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. All jobs require walking, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs and/or climbing for long periods of time.

Ride Operations Team Members are responsible for operating rides but should also be prepared to assist in selling tickets, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, keeping pathways clear of debris, directing traffic and performing a number of other duties throughout the park. All positions require a high level of customer contact and good customer service skills.
Due to the outdoor nature of the business, there may be times where you will work less hours if the weather is bad for long periods of time. This is not expected, but is always a possibility.
